• Technical data: IP address, device/browser information, and basic usage details captured by our hosting/CDN for security and performance.

• Directly from you when you submit the signup form.
• Automatically via our hosting and content delivery network when you access the site (standard server logs).

Why we use your data (lawful bases)

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): to send you beta invitations, product updates and marketing communications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): to secure and operate our website (e.g., prevent abuse, maintain availability, measure basic performance).

How we use your data

• Manage the beta waitlist and communicate with you about the beta programme.
• Send newsletters and product updates if you opt in.
• Protect our services and diagnose problems (via hosting/CDN logs).

Where we host and process data

• Website hosting & CDN: We host static site assets on AWS (Amazon Web Services). Content is served globally via AWS CloudFront with origins located in the UK/EU (e.g., London or Ireland). Server logs may include IP addresses.
• Email service provider (ESP): We use MailerLite to store subscribers, manage consent (double opt-in), send emails and provide unsubscribe links.

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EU (for example by our processors), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK IDTA, or transfers to jurisdictions recognised as adequate.

How long we keep data

• Subscriber data: until you unsubscribe or for up to 24 months after your last interaction, unless you request deletion sooner.
• Server logs: typically retained for a short period (e.g., up to 90 days) for security and operational purposes.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with trusted processors to operate the site and our communications, including AWS (hosting/CDN) and MailerLite (email delivery and consent management). These providers process data on our instructions.

Marketing, consent and unsubscribe

We use double opt-in for marketing subscriptions. You can withdraw consent at any time by:

• Clicking the Unsubscribe link in any email (powered by MailerLite), or
• Visiting our Unsubscribe page, or

Your rights

Children

Our website and beta programme are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
